Hi, I’m Patrick,

a filmmaker based in Devon.

There’s always been a niggling thought at the back of my head - what if filmmaking could change people’s lives in a way that they never thought possible.

I lost my Dad when I was ten years old. I’ve always thought ‘what if there was something that I could turn to when I want to hear his voice? What if there was a channel on TV that allowed me to listen to his stories of growing up, finding my Mum, having children?’

The purpose of Chronicle Film is to enable people to connect with their relatives in a way that we’ve never been able to before.

Camera equipment, video editing software, and filmmaking in general has never been more easily accessible; which is why I want to share my skills and craft for the better.

I feel my duty is to help bridge the gap between generations, and I want as many people on this journey as possible.
